• Spin-Milled c-c 62-07 (a bit of a sales pitch)

I've had one now for 6 months and love it to death. Personal opinion is that it has to be one of the greatest things since sliced bread. Originally I had a Spin-Milled 60-07 and 64-07 (been carrying a 64 degree wedge since 2006, starting with a Wilson…
  • May 14th 2011 My First Hole in One

I turned 61 on May 3rd and was finishing up rehabing my total right knee replacement on May 14th. I had a break in between total knee replacements, my next total knee replacement was scheduled for May 16th on my left knee. I decided to go to my favorite…

    Thanks Kevin,

  • Re: 710 CB / 710 MB combo set

The only change that might be needed is with the shaft. The launch conditions of the MB and CB are similar but not exact.

  • Re: Titleist 909 d2

    John,

The 909 series is out of production. I suggest you try the 910 series drivers. They are a more forgiving and "hotter" driver than previous models. Plus, you get the bonus of the Sure Fit hosel.

    Good luck,

    Kevin

    Joe,

The Nippon shafts are good for players who need to get the ball in the air. If you need something to lower the flight look at the KBS Tour, DG Super light(SL), and the Project X 5.5-6.0.

I suggest you see a local club fitter for the best results…

  • Re: Shafts for new irons

    Andy,

I suggest you try the Project X, KBS C-Taper S+, or a DG X100 shaft. These shafts have a stiffer tip section and are designed to lower your ball flight.

Something else to take into consideration is the type of ball you use and the club head.
