i play 5 wedges in my bag with 4 degree gaps. i got lots of full shots even down into 62 degree which i have had a lot of success with. However i would like to get more of an iron turf interaction and there is no F grind at 62. is there any way i could order a wedge with that grind and loft?

Interested what others think, but S grind is probably most similar to F grind - just has some trail edge relief, which you would probably want if opening the face for a higher lofted shot.

Vokey makes a stock 60* S grind with 10* of bounce. If you wanted to bend that to 62* it'll end up with 12* of bounce.

Good luck and enjoy the journey!

If you're into low bounce, the Wedgeworks 64T has just been released. Low bounce K is the closest you can get to F grind for a lob wedge. 60-06K. It does get the turf action off hard pan lies and bunkers with hard or packed sand. You can dinker with the loft and bend it to 62*. The beauty of low bounce K is it works in soft sand or thick grass but one has sweep it. If you want to experiment, go to a place like Golf Mart and buy a 60-06K out of the demo bin.

I rarely use sand and lob wedges for full swings. I also use a 52-12F set to 50, which is good for full swings, clearing obstacles and long bunker shots out of coarse sand.

I've had the "Phil" wedge in my bag on and off for 6 years now. 62-08M didn't do the trick. I played a 64W between 2020-2022.
