Heading to Vegas next week and finally escaping the Vancouver winter l . Curious if anyone’s played Paiute Golf Resort or Red Rock Country Club in February and can share what to expect.

I know the weather looks great compared to home, but wondering more about greens speeds, firmness, and overall course conditions this time of year. Anything winter-specific to watch for? Overseed, soft fairways, slower greens, etc?

Appreciate any insight — pumped to get some desert golf

Paiute is fun, but has its challenges as its a P Dye course(s).. And if winds get up, enjoy the ride.. All said, its worth the ride out there!
  3. When I played the paiute sun and snow mountain courses the greens were super firm and really fast, the fairways were quite firm as well. When I came back when it had been quite cold for a while the fairways still felt fast but the greens were noticeably softer and slower.
