"Had my GTS fitting, didn't think they could get that much better, but picked up 4mph ball speed and 15 yards on average. Moving to a GTS3 from the GT2 and just bombed some drives. And the fairway woods. Wow. Love the face change, just adds more confidence and great launch." — Tim M.

"Gamed [a GTS driver] this weekend at the Team Titleist Ballyhack event. Definitely hotter across the face than GT. Especially noticed increased carry on a couple of thinned drives. They still got out there! Sound has also improved over GT, more similar to TSR. Also hit the GTS4 a few times and it's really good. First time I've seen a 460cc head in the 4 option." — Wade W.

"My GTS4 is cooking right now. Not sure what kind of funky voodoo they put in this thing, but wow." — MtnBiker5

Let's not stop here. For anyone who gets fit for a GTS driver or adds one to their bag, we would love to hear your review as well!

Please note: to keep this thread clean, any responses that aren't a first-person experience with new GTS metals will be moved to a more appropriate discussion topic.

I was fit for the new GTS line after I returned home from the Tree Farm Member/Member. I currently play the GT3 9* with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 6S shaft. I hit all the new models and the final verdict was the GTS4 was the correct head for me. There were gains in ball speed, carry distance and total distance, but they were not enough for me to justify spending the money. After the golf season is over, I will revisit my driver and woods again. They feel great and sound amazing. Titleist continues to lead the way with amazing equipment and customer service.

I was fitted by my favourite Titleist fitter, alongside one of Australia's best up and coming young female players. I tried the GTS before at a TT Invitational and didn't see great gains. But that is where a proper fitting matters. I did have a GT2 Driver & Fairway wood and after trying out all the combinations, ended up with a GTS2 Driver & Fairway wood. Amazingly enough best loft for me for GTS2 Driver was 11.0 - as I was in a 9.0 degree GT2. Have to swallow my ego and go with the numbers. And boy was it right, 11/13 fairways on one of my recent rounds with it. I can't believe how much better Titleist have made an already amazing GT.
  4. I am always skeptical of the hype, but despite a heavier shaft, I saw about 4mph of ball speed gains with the GTS3 versus my GT2. I also saw a decrease of about 400rpm. With the stiffer shaft and weight manipulation I also saw significant improvement in dispersion of mishits. Couldn't be happier with the results and my GTS3 gets delivered tomorrow. I got the Titleist fitting experience at the Oakwood Performance Center in Kansas City. It's just an elite experience from setting, to staff, to the fitting itself.

First of all, my fitting was wonderful. Tried all the variables possible and ace out with a true rocket launcher. Gained about 5 mph off the driver (compared to GT3), gained a little height and a few carry yards. I did not think I could improve on my GT3 but this GT4 is awesome. Went a half inch shorter than standard with a heavier shaft and WOW!
The fairways was where I saw the biggest gains in control and ball flight. There is a reason Titleist is the number ONE brand on tour and metals like these are a great part of it. Go and get fit by a Titleist fitter and you will see the difference.”

  7. Pretty much a no brainer for the GTS 2 Driver. I hit about 7 shots and on average 8 yards longer than the PXG Lightning and so much more feel and old school sound.

The fairway 3 wood was even quicker, 1 shot only and just loved the trajectory and feel.

Seriously cool clubs, keep it up Titleist !!

Got fitted into a GTS2 9° on May 22 to replace my GT3 8°. After two rounds, I'm really impressed.

The biggest difference isn't distance—it's the consistency. My misses are much smaller, I'm hitting more fairways, and the distance is about the same, which I'm very happy with.

Now it's just a matter of trusting it and letting it do its job. As a 2.5 handicap, I believe this change will have a big impact on my game by keeping me in position more often and creating more scoring opportunities.

So far, the GTS2 has been a great fit.

I got fitted for the new GTS2 driver and 4 wood from local pro shop. I picked them up Friday on my 6th drive with it ,it made a rattling sound for about 4 seconds. Also did it on my next drive sounded like a piece of glue rattling around is this a thing ? It has not happened since.

I was fit on May 4, and was amazed. I am coming from the TSr3, and prior to that was in the TSi3. I didn't have a great experience with the GT fitting, however, this time it was amazing. Chase Wood fit me at Sherrill Park, and his ability to change the shot shape, launch, and total distance was wild to me. However, the most incredible was the ability to dial down the spin, even to the point of not enough spin! The split weighting on the GTS2 was the winner for me, +4 grams, and 15 front/5 back. Then we started on the shafts... and I wound up in the Graphite Design Di7x. I walked away so pumped for a new driver that would restore some confidence on the tee box!

It was delivered on Friday last week, and I was able to hit a few balls on Saturday. I was worried that my fitting experience wouldn't carry over to the "real world" but I have to say I was thrilled to find that I was able to hit the same shots with it that I saw during my fitting! In other words, it worked! I was blown away by the stability for such a light driver and the speed was consistent with what I saw during the fitting. This driver is a complete game changer from the tee box forward! I haven't been this excited about a new club since I got my U500 3i ... Thanks Titleist for a phenomenal new tool in the bag!
  12. I just received my GTS2 9 Degree with the Mitsubishi Tensei 1K RIP shaft. My Handicap on GHIN is a 9.2. I haden't played golf in 3 weeks, because I was on vacation fishing, that is my other hobby. We played at 6:50 AM so it was too early to warm up and hit balls I grabbed my new driver without hitting it. Just played the A1 setting it was on when delivered. I am pleased to say that I hit all 14 fairways !! I definitely noticed distance gains over my GT2, Which by the way I loved !! My ball flight was a nice fade with distance, not a weak fade either. I currently have a TP T Nitro shaft in my GT and I am not sure if I will even put that in my GTS2, I hit the ball so well with the 1k RIP shaft. I will be comparing shafts this week on the driving range. First impressions the GTS2 is a great driver and I believe it is faster than the GT2. So far for me it was worth buying the GTS2. I also play Titleist AVX ball if anyone is wondering.
