    Hey Team Titleist,

As you might recall, a few months ago we announced a really exciting a new partnership with the National High School Golf Association and their annual High School Golf Invitational - which recently wrapped up this past week.

If you're not familiar with this event, the 2021 High School Golf National Invitational was held at Pinehurst . This was the third year of the event being played and it is an invite-only tournament that is made up of the top high school golfers from across the country.

Receiving an invitation to the National Invitational is quite an honor since only the best high school golf teams and individuals will receive invites based on their State Championship performance. This year 49 states were represented and 560 golfers made the journey to Pinehurst.

Our team was on-site for both the boy and girls events the past two weeks and it was an awesome experience for everyone involved. We helped all players get ready for the event by providing golf ball fittings and our friends at FootJoy also treated players to their new foot scan experience to help find the perfect fitting shoes. There was also a Titleist equipment experience set up on the practice range where players could take our latest equipment for a test spin.

As for the tee gifts, every player walked away with a solid care package full of Titleist and FootJoy swag and the winning teams along with the individual winners took home a special edition Titleist golf bag featuring the National Invitational logo.

Now on to some highlights from the competition...

    • The winning girl's team was from Lambert High School in Georgia and won by 28 shots.

    • The winning boy's team was from Skyline High School in Utah and were the defending champions coming into the event so they are now back-to-back champions.

    • The winning boy's individual (also part of the winning team), made a hole-in-one on the 12th hole of his final round, eventually winning by 2 shots.

Make sure you check out the NHSGA website to learn more and we can't tell you how grateful we are to have the opportunity to help them enrich the high school golf experience!

This is great seeing Titleist supporting our youth. I believe in order to grow the game we need to start with our youth. Great job Titleist!

They represent the retirees of the future. Thanks to Titleist for being a part of the future of golf. Sure we will see one of two of them on the PGA/LPGA on day. With much respect. =)

Question: Where does the new NCAA stance on paying college athletes affect sponsorships for teams and players?

How cool for the High School players, and backed by Pinehurst and Titleist, it doesn't get any better than that.

Ive coached HS golf for 10 years, any time you see a big company getting involved at any level be it elite or the not so much elite, its something to be proud of. Looks like this event went over well and everyone had a good time. Awesome job! Now hopefully the kids all repaired their ball marks, since the old guard here at my club tells me that no HS kid ever fixes their ball marks LOL!!

I was a coach of one the the teams representing ND on the boys side and I had one of my girls playing as an individual as well. They were blown away with the experience and generosity of Team Titleist/FJ. As a coach, I loved getting a backpack as well!

  14. This is very nice and very nice that this is happening in schools, below I will give some arguments for this, maybe someone will find it interesting:
Access to quality equipment: Titleist is known for producing high-quality golf equipment, and a golf program in schools could provide students with access to these quality golf clubs, balls, and other accessories, which could enhance their golfing experience and improve their performance.

Skill development: A golf program can provide students with the opportunity to learn and develop golf skills, such as proper swing technique, putting, and golf course management. This can help students build their golf skills and potentially cultivate a lifelong interest in the sport.

Physical activity and outdoor recreation: Golf can be a great way for students to engage in physical activity and outdoor recreation, which can have numerous health benefits, including improved fitness, coordination, and mental well-being. A Titleist golf program in schools could encourage students to be active and enjoy the outdoors while learning and playing golf.

Character development: Golf is often associated with values such as sportsmanship, integrity, and patience. A Titleist golf program could emphasize the importance of these values and help instill them in students as they learn and participate in the sport. Furthermore, the question is asked whether college athletes should be paid, because they bring popularity to the schools and colleges where these people go to participate in the golf program. This could contribute to the character development and personal growth of students.

Competitive opportunities: A Titleist golf program in schools could provide students with opportunities to participate in golf competitions, both within the school and potentially at a broader level, such as regional or national competitions. This could foster a sense of competition, teamwork, and motivation among students, and help them develop important life skills such as goal-setting and resilience.

Accessibility and inclusion: It's important to consider the accessibility and inclusivity of a golf program in schools. Titleist or any golf program should strive to be inclusive, accommodating students of different abilities, backgrounds, and genders, and ensure that all students have equal opportunities to participate and benefit from the program.

I'd love for the team I coach to one day be invited to a cool tournament like this!
