  1. Just got this putter. Just trying to see if this putter is real or fake. Thank you for your help.

Go to a golf shop and hit some putts side by side with an off the rack Scotty. If it’s a fake you will be able to tell right away. I compared it to my Newport 2 and it looks like the real deal, and there are a few differences with the Titleist and Scotty stamp placements that could be due to customization.

I guess you got a good deal on it but I personally would pay full price for a new one that I know is the real deal.

Can the seller provide how it was obtained? One report from My Spy Golf was that a large used reseller went through their Cameron stock and found close to 20% were counterfeit. They’re more careful on trade-ins now. The best rule of thumb is if the price is too good to be true- it isn’t real. This all breaks down on the resale market and the reliability of the “vendors“.

Looks great. If the toe flow and neck angles match other Newport-2, will be a sweet addition to your bag.
  5. There's a site called Wish which sells some pretty convincing looking ones. The real ones like that seem to have 'Milled in the USA' on the back. I was tempted to buy one to see what one is like. but decided against it.
