    I have a question for any one out there if I put a scotty putter head with like a silver or satin type finish in acetone to soak to get the paint off would it take the finish off the putter also?

    acetone will not hurt the finish. did this to my black bettinardi bb1 last weekend to strip all the paint. submerged the head, waited 5 minutes, and came out clean. couldn't be easier.
