  1. Hi Guys,

I know it's a weired subject, and sorry I'm not a native English speaker.

I bought a 2018 select newport 2 in a Chinese local proshop, seems decent and authentic. They can't run away anyway.

I left the putter in my car for 2 days, with the head cover on for sure, and played with it at home on my carpet. It didn't go anywhere else during this period of time.

And weired thing happended when I'm taking a closer look at the putter face (you can see from the pictures attached), the Grains/Groove seems somehow vanished/weared from on the bottom part of the putter head!

As shown in the picture, it's very clear it's not due to a crash or some impact, it's more like someone ground it with machine. I didn't take pictures for the bottom of the putter but it's very clear that it's 100% brand new and no scratches at all, means I didn't used it in the golf course or anywhere else.

Now I'm arguing with Titleist Chinese sales person and seems they don't want to admit it's a quality issue.

Any idea from your point of view?

looks to me like the face of the insert wasn't completely milled, hard to believe that it would pass quality control inspection and be sent out to a dealer for sale like that jmo
  3. I have never seen that issue with any SC putter....the quality is always top notch...
