How do you keep your golf game sharp during the off-season?

Mike:
In the off season I visit the gym three times per week and perform golf swing related exercises in addition to various others. In fact I utilize the gym all year. I'm 69 only 5'8" and can still drive the golf ball 250-270. I attribute this to the fact that I try to exercise at least three times per wk all year. Gary Player was right when he said, exercise/strength will help you hit the ball better.

I hit the gym at least 3 times a week, and I play as much as possible throughout the winter. I also hit balls at least 3 times a week in a field near my home - great practice, especially for SW through 8 iron. I am also planning on taking a lesson this winter.
Happy holidays Team Titleist!!

I am also a Gary Player fan. The key is fitness and flexibility.

Of course keeping the core muscles strong and regularstretching of the large muscle groups help in my off seaeon. Keeping my hands on a golf club, whether chipping or putting indoors, keeps the eye trained for crisp impact, and muscle memory in tact for spring. Mental training is usually reading books on golf.
