After an outstanding Rd 3 64, Rafa was able to seal the deal on Sunday and won the Open de Espana.

He is a proud Titleist and FJ ambassador from head to toes.

Will Rafa play in the PGA Tour next season? OR Will he play in the European Tour next season?

Either way... I am extremely happy for him.

    Vamos Rafa!

Yes, a big fan of Rafa and congrats to him and his family. As for playing on the PGA Tour, a believe win on the European Tour does not make him exempt to play on the PGA Tour. He would have to be high enough on the World rankings or go through Q-School which already happened for the 2022 season. He could get high enough in the rankings to play in more World events in 2022 which count for PGA Tour money earnings and FedEx points which if high enough, could make him exempt for 2023 PGA Tour. Hopefully he keeps winning and we see him more often.

He had status for while on the PGA tour but I think he lost it due to poor play.

I have seen Rafa out at TPI a few times dialing in his gear and getting practice in.

Rafa seems like a cool cat. Looking at his PGA Tour profile, he was exempt for the 2020-2021 season. Like Dale mentioned, he'll need more wins and needs to earn more money. With his recent ET win, he should qualify for some WGC events which will be opportunities to get back his PGA Tour exempt status.
