Putting vs Driving

I was listening to Jordan Spieth's news conference ahead of the Players and the question came up about Jordan's supposed "lack" of distance. Let me ask you guys, what would you take, the driving of Rory or the putting of Jordan? Personally, I would take the putting, I think sinking a crucial 15 footer is more in your face than a 300 yard drive.

I too saw the news conference and enjoyed hearing his response to the question. For me I am taking Jordan's putting all day. Making close to everything inside 15 feet makes the game a whole lot easier. Good luck this season!

I would take Jordan's putting without a doubt. Not even a second thought.

I'd take the putting, you can be far & miss the fairway and still have a playable shot, but unless you make the putt it doesn't matter what the drive was like.

Short game and putting are the most critical thing in golf. It's why guys like Jordan are always consistent day to day. The flat stick saves you way more than the big dog

I'd easily give up 20 yards off my driver if I could putt better!

Putting every single time!! Having a good short game is what makes the biggest difference in scores from my experience.
