It was the 16th hole at Glencairn Golf Club in Milton, Ontario. It was playing 156 yds with a slightly elevated green. I hit an 8 iron and pushed it slightly right of the flag and thinned it as well. It hit a side slope and kicked left. I took my eyes off of it but my playing partners kept an eye on it as it tracked towards the hole. They lost sight of it and said that it might have gone in. I didn’t believe it until we hit up to the green and couldn’t see the ball. Lo and behold, it was in the cup. My ProV1 which I’ll keep on a mantle forever. My first ever and hopefully not my last as I’m turning 53 years old this year. I’ll remember it forever! And it was nice to have it witnessed by my childhood friends.
