We reserved two afternoon foursomes at our club, but ended up with just my husband, two of our sons and their girlfriend and fiancé (who just rides and reads her book). Pro let us play as a five-some as it wasn't busy because rain was threatening. On hole 3, the pin was at the front and only 84 yards out from the ladies tee. Using a Titleist Velocity matte green and my attack wedge, I swung and hit the ball purely and it felt so good! The ball went high right at the pin and bounced in! It was probably one of the only times everyone was actually watching me tee off so we all saw it. There is that second or two where we all were just staring and wondering did that really just happen and then we all started jumping up and down and screaming. It was the best mothers day ever and I can't imagine a better scenario for my first hole-in-one, during a round with my husband and two golfer sons! My sons might be just a tiny bit bitter that I got my first before they did :-)
