Hello, My name is Ben Abbey. I am a 15 year old competitive golfer from Calgary Alberta. On August 20th I carded my fist hole in 1 at the Alberta Golf U17 Championship on hole #8 at Alberta Springs Resort. For my special shot I used the Vokey SM10 56 degree wedge and I was also using my all time favorite golf ball, the Titleist Pro V1. For this day our tees had been moved forward and there was a front pin making the hole play very short. Right behind the hole there was a small hill. For my shot i landed the ball at the top of the hill and had put enough spin on it to get it moving down the hill. The hill continued to move the ball closer and closer to the hole and eventually the ball hit the pin and disappeared. The next few holes were difficult battling my adrenaline and having to calm myself down. I managed to sting together a solid back 9 finishing my round with a personal best score of 70 (two under).
