I hit a hole in one this past Saturday on the 4th hole at Shennecossett in Groton, CT. It’s one of the hardest par 3’s in our tiny state. I hit my AP1 5 iron, 185 to the hole. It definitely looked good off the tee, right at the pin. Because it’s a upside down bowl when I got up to the green I didn’t see my ball. I grabbed a couple wedges and my putter as I thought it rolled off. I looked where I thought it would’ve ended up as it’s a tricky green and I’ve hit that shot many times. When I couldn’t find it I didn’t want to sound cocky but I asked my friend who was on the green to check the cup, sure enough there it was!
