I was playing in an event at Dismal River Club in Nebraska. A cold front had blown in, so temperatures were in the low 40s with 25-30 mph winds. I use a Titleist AVX in windy conditions. We reached the par 3 fifth hole. It was an uphill, blind 156 yard shot with the wind blowing in and front the right. Our group hit several shots that appeared to be good from the tee box far below the green. As our carts reached the green we say three white balls on the green, but my yellow AVX was nowhere to be seen. As I approached the hole I could see the bright yellow glowing against the sides of the bright white cup. We are headed to Vegas to celebrate my first hole in one!
