I can't seem to stop flipping the club in my swing, I never get forward shaft lean, and I think I've only ever compressed a ball 2 times in my life! Would love to have that feeling consistently, what are some must do drills to banish the flip forever?

This as a search in Google: golf advice - flipping
Provides a multitude of you-tube options.
Generally, any single swing error I think I have is the result of another error I hadn't considered. I do better getting a professional do an evaluation to come up with the correct drill for my specific root cause problem.

If anything, go see a trusted golf instructor in your area. They probably have a number of drills that can help you and see other faults you have in your swing. If you want to get better, it's money well spent.

Try letting go of the club with your right (or trail) hand. Take it to the top, start the downswing and let go right before impact.

Keep hitting the ball until you hit a normal, straight shot with a slight draw and your body will be doing the right thing. There is no way to fake it. You will get things in sync this way.

You will get very sore from this drill but it is seriously one of the best I feel anyone could do.

    Best of luck!

Buy an impact bag...Breed used them and they seem to help many people get that shift lean...best of luck

I agree that seeing a pro is best, but that aside, here's a swing thought and grip adjustment that might help. I also"flip"the club, turning my right wrist over from time to time, resulting in nasty hooks and a lot of aggravation.

One thing I did was to put a couple extra layers of tape on the lower portion of the grip, under the right hand, which negates the taper in the grip. It's makes it harder to flip because it's thicker.

The swing thought that helps me is an old baseball move, really simple; "hit to right field". When right handed batters hit to right field, they lead with their hands, that is their hands are in front of the baseball.Unlike pull hitters who roll their wrists to get on top of the baseball, hitting the opposite way requires you to hang on, and not roll your wrist.

    Hope this was helpful.
