Why isn't there a 46* or 44* Vokey Wedge?

    I'd love to replace my stock PW with a Vokey but you really can't bend the 48-06 down without destroying the bounce. Perhaps they could just add another 48 with much more bounce so it could be bent down?

    There is a new 46 degree wedge on the Vokey.com site that came out earlier this year.  I replaced my PW with it and it is great.  It and my 50 Vokey are my two favorite clubs

    Hi DPavs,

    We do offer a 46* PW through WedgeWorks at www.vokey.com.  It is the 246.06 and is fully customizable to your needs.  We can bend it to 45* if you'd like.  I wouldn't recommend bending it to 44* though as that would lower the bounce too much and make the club closer to a 9 iron.

    Thanks everyone. I might go with the 46* and have it bent 1 degree strong. Right now my 9 iron is 40* and the first of my 3 vokey's is 48*. So you can see the issue. I have 8* between the two and that is the gap I am trying to fill.

    Like the Titleist person said, 44 deg pretty much approaches the loft of a 9 iron. I don't have this issue in my golf set. My 9 iron is 46 deg and my PW is 50 deg (I have some Ping Eye 2 green dot irons). I have a 54-11 bent to 55 deg.

    My irons are diablo edge, strong lofts but high launch. The 9 iron is 40* so 44 * is a good fit for a PW for me.

    i really dont recommend that at all, itd be like making a wedge into a 9 iron basically. its not against the rules to make a whole set of clubs with vokey wedges haha, but why bother?? i know that wasnt your question but it couldnt hurt to answer. but ya, like the first guy said, they do have the new 48* on the vokey website, its worth checking out
