Fujikura Motore F3 on 910F

  1. On Titleist's custom shaft options list, the Fujikura Motore F3 70 is listed as a low/mid launch shaft.  While the F1 is a mid kick, mid launch shaft.  However, on Fujikura's own site, the reverse is the case.  Where the F3 is a mid kick, mid launch shaft, and the F1 is a tip stiff, mid/low launch shaft.

So it begs the question, who's correct?  Is there a mistake on Titleist's custom shaft specs or is the Motore F3 offered from Titleist different from Fujikura's retail shaft?

I live in Hong Kong, and recently bought the 910F 15*.  The stock shaft here is the Motore F3 (not the 3 shaft options available in the US).

Just wondering what kind of club I actually bought.  Thanks.

When our R and D does shaft testing for launch and spin, they test the shafts and then put them on our graph.  We have a parameter for launch and spin for each box and every shaft in the box is within that particular launch and spin window.  When we did our testing in our heads, the F3 70 launched lower, but spun about the same as the F1 75.  As you noted, since you are in Hong Kong, the models are not the same as here in the US.  Please contact our HK office and they will be able to give you more information on the club that you purchased.  Their web address is: SalesHK@acushnetgolf.com.

  3. Thanks for the response.  I'll contact acushnet here.
