    If I want to cut my gt3 4 wood half an inch, do you know how much head weight I need to add?

    Several factors involved to determine exactly, but should be around 6 grams. Start with lead tape and then order the exact weight you need.

    If you're willing to tinker with the shaft length, you should also consider tinkering with the weight. Best to do it with a good fitter who can show you the numbers, but if you do it yourself get a few different weights and try them out.

    Cutting 1/2 inch should decrease swing weight by 3 points.
    Do D3 will be D0.
    And to increase a swing weight by 1 point you need 2 gr,
    To answer your question, you will need 6 gr. Heavier that the weight you have.

    This is an estimate, you should verify the réel swing weight with a scale.
