Yes, yes it does. That said, someone who is using a TSR1 successfully and is on a limited budget might decide to hold off on the upgrade if they have a greater shortfall in their bag. We all have different budgets and reasons for updating our sets. I for one, have specifically enjoyed going to the GT1 as the impact sounds a lot better. My TSR1 sounded like an aluminum baseball bat.

I myself cannot give you a feedback as I do not use hybrids. But from what I have been hearing though is that the GT series is night and day difference.

I had the TSR hybrids and i just never felt comfortable with them. I traded the 4 hybrid and added a TSR 1 7 wood which I has become my most versatile club in the bag. I am able to hit it out of the rough, fairway bunkers and tight lie fairways.

I just upgraded from the TSR1 driver to a GT1 with a premium shaft. During the fitting, i tried the GT woods and hybrids. The GT woods were very good and the hybrids were excellent. If money was no object I definitely would have considered a GT hybrid.

The GT hybrid has a totally different feel . The head on the TSR always felt like a stone at the end of the shaft - whereas the GT just feels connected and easy to swing.
