If you followed our inside the tour truck coverage from last month’s Open Championship, you’ll notice a common addition to the bags of several players - new T200 and U·505 long irons.

And with seven new opportunities for golfers who are looking to increase launch and spin from their utility and long irons, including four options in the new U•505 model and three T200 irons in a utility build, there are several ways to dial in your long game at the top end of your bag.

Whether you’ve already been fit or you’ve got your sights set on a new addition to your bag, we want to hear from you: Are you adding a new utility to your bag this year?

Loving that the lie angles are more upright as standard! Is there is reason for this change? Where the majority of orders asking for them up a degree?

These are so awesome. I actually got fit for the full set of T200 but will be using hybrids on the top end. That's just better suited to my game and preferences but the U505 and T200 long irons will be great additions for a lot of players.

*were the majority of orders on the U500 and 510’s coming in as wanting them upright* that should say

what hybrids did you choose...im looking at hybrids as well at the top of the bag with the Tsi3....mainly because I think i like the profile better than the Tsi2.....thoughts?

Have the previous version of the utility U510 and love them. So I'll pick the 505 based on that
  7. The U505 looks like it's getting a little closer to what the bigger utility should look like. Hopefully their next iteration is sized between the u505 and the u500, but closer to the u500
  8. I currently play the U510 at 17 degrees and the U500 at 20 degrees. I do not carry any hybrids, I just have more control left to right with the utilities. I would like to know the differences between the prior U500 and U510 compared to the new U505. Anyone know?? Thanks.
  9. I am looking forward to trying out the T200s. My Club Pro is waiting to fit me for them but he has not received them yet.

After gaming and loving prior T100s and U500 3i & 4i since release I found the T200 3i more like the new T100 at impact and ball flight than any of U500s new or old.

For me, the profile, feel, and responsiveness with the T200 3i and 4i was night and day over any of the U500’s. After hitting the new line I ordered 5-9i T100, 3-4i T200, and a TSI3 2h.

Anyone have a bead on when the new Vokey’s will be released?

T200, couldn't get over the thickness of the U!
  12. I currently play the U510 at 17 degrees and the U500 at 20 degrees. I do not carry any hybrids, I just have more control left to right with the utilities. I would like to know the differences between the prior U500 and U510 compared to the new U505. Anyone know?? Thanks.
  13. Just ordered my U505 with a Fujikara Atmos 75 Red shaft stiff flex. Cannot wait for it to arrive and see how it performs on the course!
  14. My 2022 dream set:
    TSi3 2 hybrid, or U505 2i,
    T200 4i-7i,
    T100 8i-PW, GW.
    Vokey- 54, 58

    Other Possible Upgrades:
    TSi2 Driver and 3 wood.
    Scotty Phantom X11 (indulgent)

I’m saving all my pennies for this grouping. I’ve loved playing the U500, T100, 620MB, Vokey combo for the last three (plus) seasons and my handicap has remained steadily in the +’s because of my full Titleist bag from Driver, Fairway, hybrid, irons, Vokeys and Scotty(s). Now it’s time to update my game.

I have had a chance to hit all but the u505, but after seeing it, I have very little doubt it will be what I want to play on the upper end of the irons. I have tried other manufacturers irons, but the Titleist have been my favorite, and both the launch monitor and my trial observations support what I felt.

Question: Do I replace the TS2 with the TSi upper end clubs (Driver and Fairway) now too? The TS2’s have played so well, and I am so confident with them, that I wonder if the TSi’s will play significantly better than the TS2s. I haven’t even bothered testing them out yet. It’s a lot of money. Any thoughts?

I'm sticking with my U500. Hit it consistently well, gives me confidence over the ball and I love the smaller head size. For me it works better than I would have expected. So, if it ain't broke...
  16. Ended up with u505 and T300.

I "could" hit the t200 irons, but not enough help on bad shots.

505U much more forgiving than the T200U; but I am a 17/18 handicap

I like the Titleist hybrids and play them. 18* and 21*.
  18. I am looking for an opportunity to try both. I am not happy with the spot in my bag where those would fit. The iron fits my eye better, but I can hit my hybrid better than an old 2-iron blade which is the only other club I currently have. I hit the U500 and U510 inside the local store several times, but never had the opportunity for a fitting.

Titleist Thursdays sounds like the perfect answer, but I'm not ready to pay for a fitting just to see if I like one of the irons better than my current hybrid.
  19. I ended up going with the U505. Reason being is hitting a 3 iron during my fitting every shot, no matter where I struck it on the face, had the same carry distance. The decision became easy when I hit a shot fat about two inches behind the ball and it carried within 5 yards of all the others. Ridiculously forgiving for a long iron.

I got the T200 Utility Build 22° last month and I love it. I'm able to hit better quality shots from 190-205 years without the fear of hooking my former 915H 4.
