  1. Hello all, new here and tried searching this question but didn't quite see an answer. I bought a 917f2 15 degree 3 wood head to replace my old 910f. I do have a couple shafts from my old 3 wood that already have the surefit hosels on them. I was surprised to see that when my 917f2 head arrived I wasn't able to bolt my old 910f shafts onto the 917f2. It seems the 910f surefit hosel is both larger in diameter and length. Is that a normal thing? I was under the impression that they were all compatible as far as woods go. I've played around with trying the 910f shaft in my 910d3 driver with no issues. Is this also going to be a fitment issue with a 917d driver as well? Thanks for any info and thank God spring golf is finally here!!

The 910 D/F/H all used the same Surefit adapter. All F are compatible from 913 through TS. All D are compatible from 910 through TS. All H are compatible from 913 through 818. Using a 915 in an 816 will only adjust by 0.75 degree. 816/818 adapters adjust in 1 degree increments.

So, yes, your 910 F shaft is a dead-end shaft for later F compatibility.
