Currently I have Titlest 762 irons and have been playing them since 2001. They are start to shoe some wear and I am now considering purchacing a new set.
I love my 762's and would like to know what new Titlest irons would best compare to them?

The 762 irons (there was also a 762B) were part of the DCI franchise and were produced in 2003. They had the same lengths and lies as our 710 line and in terms of playability were in between the 710 AP1' and 710 AP2's. They had a little more offset than the AP2's but less than an AP1 and a little more bounce than both. The lofts in the 6-W were stronger than AP2's, but one degree weaker than the AP1's. Here's a fun fact....we made the 762's from 1 iron to GW. I would recommend trying both the AP1's and the AP2's. If you need the name of a fitter in your area, give us a call at Team Titleist 1-888-TITLEIST.
