712 MB Hosel OD broke a shaft need to replace

    I broke a shaft in my 712 MB 7 iron and I need to install new one so I needed to know what the Hosel Outside Diameter was so I could get as close a match for the ferrule so I dont have to do muxh if any turning. I know it takes 355 taper iron shafts and I have the shaft just looking for the Outside Diameter of the Hosel

    The 66TI's will be pretty close. Just use a little acetone to take down the rest if they stick over.

    Another solution if you haven't already melted the factory ferrule or had it damaged when the club broke is to reuse it. With the help of a rubber vise clamp, you can often move the ferrule up the shaft away from the head before heating. After the head is removed and residual epoxy scraped off the tip of the shaft, twist the original ferrule off. It will be a perfect fit and factory match the rest of your set.
