what is better in your guys opinions?? i just got a 34" acushnet bullseye and the feel to my suprise is unreal. Face balanced simple to align. Should i stick to this old girl or go for the scotty Pro platinum version from 2002 with the carbon steel head. has anybody done this pros and cons. Basically is the money worth it to get the updated version?

    Thanks

I still have my Bullseye that I bought in 1967.  I think the old brass head has a better feel than the Cameron version and it still rolls the ball very well.  Corey Pavin seems to think so as well since he continues to putt with one of the old models.

My dad has had the same Bullseye since BEFORE 1957 (when I was born).

yes i seen Corey pavin on teh golf channel again this past weekend with the golden beauty! LOL......i have been playing the last few founds with this old acushnet and i just find it so hard to believe. i have a new putter grip to throw on it and gave it a good polish with a sos pad...the old pro only grip is cracked everywhere and falling off in pieces! i just cant put this down. I was using a SC delmar cali 34 inch but the feel of the bullseye is unreal! might have to trade in the scotty for something else. sometimes less is more!

Sometimes you just have to keep your "Billy Baroo" equivalent.    For me it is a persimmon 34* hybrid that I bought from Louisville Golf for tax time 2011 (they discontinued it) - I call it the "Screwy Louie Attack Hybrid".  Although I hit my AP1 7 iron very well, I have been so spoiled with the 34H  (main reason I used it was because I didn't hit my Eye 2 6 iron very well); I can drop a shot on a dime from 150 yards with it.

My  opinion....Acushnet Bullseye.  Still classy in the bag.
