  1. Hi guys know that there is tons of threads on here abut fakes but none of them seem to have a definitive answer. I bought a 910H of eBay the other day there.

Now when I received it there is no serial number on the club head, also there is a titleist tour velvet grip but there is no Titleist written on the reverse side of the grip only on the top (butt) of the grip.

Both my 910D2 and 910F both have the serial number on the head but I got the grip upgraded on them so can't tell if this is how it should be.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Jaimie,

There really aren't any consistencies when trying to spot counterfeit clubs.  All of our clubs would have a serial # on them.  The best way to protect against buying counterfeits is purchasing them from authorized Titleist retailers.  The grips we started using in our 910 metal woods is considered the Titleist Tour Velvet 360.  The "Titleist" script is located, as you noted, on the butt end of the grip.  This allows a player to adjust the club without having to worry about the position of "Titleist" on the bottom of the grip.
