Hey guys, I need new Irons, I'm currently playing the 2008 AP1s and would like to have the 712 AP2s. But I don't have that much money. I found something for the internet, 3-9 Iron and the would cost 310 euros/265 pounds/420 dollars. What do you think? www.cheapgolfonline.co.uk/Titleist-AP2-712-Irons-369.html
  2. No they wont be fake. They'll be real plastic.

  3. Don't both with cheapgolfonline.co.uk. Instead go to reallysupercheapgolfonlikne.co.uk. They're clubs are just not cheap but are really super cheap but the plastic they use is not as good as some others.

considering the 712 ap2's have only been around for less than amonth i would say they are fake. almost all ap2's should be around $1k

i looked at the site and i would beleive that they are fake. if a deal looks to be to be true with online sales of clubs then yes fake. also tilteist has a map or min advertising price. sorry fake in my eyes hope that helps.

come on. think about it. of course they're going to say they aren't fake -- how else would they con people into a purchase?

a set of 712 AP2 is ~$1100. and Titleist doesn't allow shops to sell their equipment at massive discounts. you really think this one site is going to magically sell them at under half MRSP?

I fell for it too and and pulled the trigger and committed to a purchase before doing my homework. I ended up buying a legitimate set from an authorized reseller.

This site is NOT good .. http://www.golfonlinewholesale.com/.   I'm trying to get a refund from these yahoos, but it's tough dealing with China.

It's unfortunate these counterfeit clubs are diluting the value of the Titleist brand..

It's going through China?! 'Nuf said. Don't waste your hard earned money. If I told you that I would sell you a real nice watch at great discount but it was coming from China would you buy it? Those "custom shafts" are just stickers they're running off the printer and slapping on whatever junk sticks they've got laying around. My dad bought some clubs off the internet once that turned out to be fake. First round of golf in Phoenix for a golf trip they started falling apart. I felt bad for him, but the look on his face when the head falls right off the shaft was classic. He eventually got his money back, but the search for the deal wasn't worth the headache in the end.

They said that they are selling them that cheap because they got them direct from the factory. Also that you can get other shafts like Project X 6.0 .. I really don't know what to do..

    Hi Joschka,

As some of the others have said, if the deal seems too good to be true than it probably is. This site is not an authorized Titleist retailer. Please feel free to contact our brand protection team at ip@acushnetgolf.com if you have any additional questions.

In the meantime, feel free to check out the following page for some tips on how to avoid purchasing counterfeit clubs:
