AP1 710 vs 712

    I am going to purchase a new set of AP1's and am wondering if the 712's are worth the extra $100 over the 710's.

     

    Besides the small cosmetic differences, I cannot determine what advantages the 712's might have over the 710's?

     

    Does anyone know?

    The 712 AP1 irons have been redesigned not only cosmetically, but the interior of the club has been redesigned to give it more forgiveness. We have redesigned the cradle, added a denser tungsten weight, and made the shape more proportional. This will give you higher speeds on mishits and more forgiveness. The topline of the club has been bevelled so that it has a thinner appearance (without losing any forgiveness) and we have made the set with a progressive blade length so the playability has been increased on the shorter irons. The new stock shaft will be the Dynalite Gold XP shaft which will have a slightly lower launch than the NS pro 105T (which we will still offer).
