How do you stock your bag with new Titleist balls? I've seen all different types of routines. I like to take them out of the new box, one sleeve at a time, mark them all before play at the comfort of my desk, put them back in the sleeves, then put them back in the box and put the box in the big side sleeve of my bag. I take out one of the sleeves and put it in the highest pouch of my bag. The biggest, lowest pouch I use for only used balls. I take out one ball from the sleeve at a time and then put the single sleeve back in the pouch until all three balls are used. I repeat this until I use the entire 4 sleeves from the box. Only one new sleeve in my pouch at one time. What is your routine?

...And I thought watching TV with a marker and a dozen balls was borderline OCD. I do like to buy 4 boxes at a time so each box will be all 1's, 2's, etc. That helps me remember which number I hit when "in search of". Otherwise, I just have 2 sleeves in the bag prior to each round. Using 2 bags, the pockets aren't the same so I just tuck them in for that bag. If the AVX comes up on 4-4-3 loyalty deal, then they will all just be the same number. Time saver.

Hey Don, love the separation of boxes with the same number. Great idea! But don't confuse OCD with a disciplined routine. If that was the case, every tour pro would be "labeled" OCD. I've spent years studying OCD and various other psychological disorders. Beware of "labels." If it works, don't knock it.

Carry three sleeves, all marked with an orange line. The sleeves are kept in a leather pouch in the center pocket!

I don't understand why a player will take out a new ball and mark it right before he hits it. I always mark my balls way before I play. At home, preparing my equipment before I play. The day before! I check all my balls, make sure they are clean and sometimes will remark them. I put the new balls in back in the box then in my bag. So I will know for sure that they are new balls when I take one out. When I use all three I recycle the sleeve. My mind is on the shot I will make. Not marking a new ball.

One dozen at a time at home.

One single green dot to the right of the #. I'm Irish and my HS colors were green and gold. I have been marking my Titleist the same way since my HS playing days - 1978 - that's a lot of Titleist and green ink!!!

I keep six balls in my bag. If I lose one I add another after I play.

    (just ordered some Shamrock balls)

For me, a new out of the box Titleist ball is too darn good looking to put a Sharpie mark on it. I try to play with double digit numbered balls if possible. I consider those pre-marked. However, just got a dozen AVX yellow numbered 1 to 4 so I'll need to figure out something.

Boy Richard I you'd hate mine. But then again John B, you'd like them.

Whenever I get a fresh dozen I’ll empty them all out in the car. In the first box go balls 1,2&3 in that order with #1 at the top, in the next box 4,1&2, then 3,4&1 and in the final box 2,3&4 and I play them in that order.

One new sleeve goes in a separate pocket along with ball marker and divot tool. Current used gamers ( after a few rounds) go in the larger bottom ball pocket. They're only golf balls.............but Titleist for sure.
  11. I like to carry only 2 sleeves of pre-marked golf balls when I play. I usually mark them the day before and place them in the same pocket each time. I mark the with two dots (I like to switch up the color from time to time) and I put my initials under the prov1 marking. I've been marking my ball like this since I was a kid and it makes it really easy for me to spot it on the course. All of my regular playing partners know how I mark my ball and this makes it really easy for them to ID my ball as well.
  12. I generally put the boxes in the bottom pocket then pick them out at random! If it comes out the bag then it doesn’t go back in until I lose it (happens quite a lot atm) or the round is finished! Nothing better than brand spanking new balls. Love the Orange Velocity! Perfect for spotting!

Mark them up in the house before hand then put a couple of sleeves into the bag at a time.
New balls get kept in the box once used they go loose into the ball pocket .
