I currently game players distance irons because I’m a mid-handicap (6.2 index) at my club and was looking for forgiveness. I’m a high swing speed player, averaging 110 with driver. Here’s the issue, last week a played a round with my buddy’s clubs which are blades with project x 6.5 shafts. I couldn’t miss. My irons, and fairwoods are massively inconsistent and I have gapping issues at the bottom of my bag because of the players distance irons.

Currently I game: TSI3 driver with tensei raw white 65 x 16.5 gt3 fairway with tensei 1K black 75s 19 gt2 hybrid with tensei 1k black 85s T200 4-p amt white S Vokey 46,52,58 DG wedge flex.

PW is stock 152 46 is stock 134 52 is stock 122 58 is stock 104 Yes, it’s fun to hit it long, but it’s more fun to play better and i feel as if the T200’s are too long, but I also know I need the help.

I seem to keep finding “hot spots” in the irons and I can’t control them like I would like.

Any similar handicaps with similar speeds deal with this and what was the fix?
