  1. Hi all. I am looking for some feedback on shafts. A few seasons back I put a set of graphite design Reg Flex AD 73i black paint shafts in my set of 735 chrome irons. Yeah I know they are old irons but I am too so don't get too hung up on that part. I can still get it around pretty good. The reason for that was to see if I would like the transition from steel to graphite. Age, swing speed, aches, ...etc. My question is does anyone have an idea of what shafts Titleist offers that come close to the specs of the AD 73i's that I can hone in on to demo for my new set. Thanks!

If you're purchasing a new set, most pro shops that do fittings (outdoors) will discount/comp the fitting with an order. Titleist Thursdays are free fittings. Hitting a few shots with your gamers will help the fitter have a starting point for iron selection and likely shaft. The Tensei Pro Red AMC is new this year and would be a good choice if you need graphite and a high launching shaft. Since the shafts vary by weight based on the iron number, the technology is so far from your original set a comparison would be hard to do. But don't take my word for it. Seek a good fitter.
