Sorry if I'm late to the party on this, but I noticed over time that I was missing left a little more with my 910D3 (Fujikura rombax 6z08 x-stiff shaft), than with my old 905S driver (grafalloy blue stiff), not to mention my 975D and 983E (grafalloy prolite stiff).  a little research revealed that the A1 position for the 910D is 1.5 degrees more upright than the old standard.  A quick change to D1 corrected the problem, and ultimately I decided that C1 was the best fit for me.

Since the fairways seem to be the same standard lie angle as the older fairways, I am curious as to why the driver would be more upright, making it even more upright than the fairways. This seems to be counter-intuitive - I would expect that the driver, which is longer, would be flatter than the fairways.

Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me.

    Neil
