Hi I currently have a RIP a 70 stiff in my 910 D3 driver and the Titleist ahina 90HYB stiff in my 910 21 degree hybrid and hit both well.  I am looking for a shaft for my in between club, a 17 degree fairway wood to be the middle ground between those two clubs (weight/ yardage/feel).

I have narrowed my choice down to the RIP a 80 stiff or the Titleist ahina 82 stiff.   I would like the shaft to be trimmed to 42.5”.  Reduced to this length, what would the weight and torque be reduced to from the listed dry max lengths for each?  How would the stiffness and feel compare between these two?  I see that the RIP a 80 S is already a 2.2 degree torque at dry length, which seems very low.  At 42.5", will that be lower still and feel significantly stiffer than the ahina 82 S which is 3.1 or is stiffness/feel independent of torque?

For reference, my driver swing speed is around 105 and my miss is a high fade/slice or pull with the occasional pull hook.

Thank you in advance all who help advise.
