  1. I have a question hope someone can help me out. I've been playing a 904f fairway for years and like it a lot but for some reason I've always wanted to try the 906f2. I found one on ebay the other day like new with a nv 85x shaft so I bought it. After hitting it at the range a few times I'm just not likeing it but I dont want to give up on it just yet. Heres my question, it seems much more head heavy. As I understand it that would mean it has a heavier swing weight than my 904 but if I understand swing weight correctly it shouldn't unless it has a heavier head. Reason why I believe this is the 904 is paired with the fujikura speeder for titleist shaft which is 80 grams the 906 has the nv85 which is 88 grams. Do the two heads weight the same? If not do you know the weights? Finally shortly before I bought the 906 I had my 904 put on a swing weight scale and it came in at around D0. Any suggestions for a shaft replacement for the 906 that might get it around the D0 swing weight. One more thing before making a shaft recomendation I guess you should no my swing speed and characteristics. With a driver its about 114 with a medium fast tempo.

    Thanks

The 906 should have a seriel number, so perhaps call Titliest (888-Titleist) and find out the original custom specs order. It could be a variety of issues that produce a heavier swingweight including a special order. If you like that Titleist Speeder shaft, you may like the Fujikura F3 Motore 70 gram three wood shaft. It's hard to advise without a pure fitting, but it "may" feel better. RC
