  1. I was looking through a bin at our local second hand store today and spotted an old bullseye putter. At $3 how could I resist? It’ll make an interesting addition to hang on the wall when we get around to finishing our basement. It’s pretty beat up but who cares right? It’s an interesting piece of history.

    Hi Wendy!

I have one as well! Love this putter for a couple of reasons with the first being that my Uncle bought it for me in '71 as a surprise just before the round, from the Pro Shop at his Club, Cleveland Heights in Lakeland Florida. I was sixteen at the time and had a putter that looked like I stole it from a Mini Putt.... but I didn't, lol.

The second reason is that I couldn't miss with it as a right or left handed putt.... and I utilized it for about 30 years along with my Wilson 8802. The Bulls Eye allowed me to be ambidextrous, I'm a southpaw.

Now I only use my Scotty Newport 2, but the Bulls Eye still has the original grip and shaft and everything.

    Thanks for the memory Wendy!
