Golf Channel Am Tour

    I was just wondering if anyone is a member of the Golf Channel Am Tour. From what I understand is it used to be the Golftown Am Tour. I was looking to play in some events this summer but when I was looking at the website all the Ontario events are in the States. So I guess my question is if anyone has played in these events before and if there are any coming to Canada this summer?

    I would suggest that if you are interested in some competitive amateur golf here in Ontario you may want to look into the GTA Am Tour.
    They hold events at a wide variety of golf courses and go as far north as Midland. I have a friend at my course that has participated in some of these and said they were very well run and the competition was everything he had hoped for.

    Hi Paztor! I looked into it a few years back and it was a little on the disorganized side - particularly out here in Western Canada. There apparently was a group that were supposed to be organizing it on behalf of the Golf Channel - I really lost touch with it.

    It looked promising, but I have not seen anything on it in the recent past. Like Darius mentioned, we have a more active local set of "tours".
