thanks for your tip. I was actually going to send it back but decided against it, because I wanted to play the Scotty in a tournament last monday. I used nail polish remover on a q-tip and could easily remove the paint with it.

This par 3, from the tee you can only see the tip of the flag stick. We knew I hit the green but when we got to the green, no ball. Looked around the green but couldn,t find it. Finally looked in the cup and there it was.
No problem at all. There is no rule that says that you can't adjust the shaft length to suit yourself.
