• First Round After Retirement!

I recently retired after a long professional career. Partly so I could keep working on my growing bucket list which includes spending more time with my grandkids, pursuing my technology hobby as a part time business and of course playing more golf.

  • When it Rains it Pours

Before this season I had never really had a close call to a hole-in-one. In my first round of the year on a cold April day in MN I was fortunate enough to see my first ever hole in one go in. Fast forward a month and 6 days the last thing on my mind was…

  • First Ever Hole in One

Sometimes it pays off to play in tough conditions... My Dad was in town for the weekend and we decided to play golf. When I booked the tee time a week in advance the weather was looking to be mid 50s with light wind, a treat for early April in MN. Well…

  • Short game camp

Has anyone heard if Titleist is sponsoring any short game camps this year similar to what was held last year?

  • RE: Clubs in poor condition

I would say, only as a collectible set or if you are very nostalgic and played similar when they were new. Newer technology makes more modern sets better for most people’s game.
  • My third hole-in-one story

Hole #6, 140 yds on the card, at Pacific Springs in Omaha NE. I was playing with Scott (Scooter) Phares, Eddie George and Jon Juhler. The flag was back right playing 160 yards. The green slopes left to right and the wind was also left to right. Scooter…
