I have been face with a similar problem recently. What I did was select the shaft I felt the most confident with. My thinking was neither shaft selection was a bad selection so I the golfer should make the call. I know and feel your pain.
Thomas: how are the lofts configured? It would be easy to make them stronger in the short irons. Maybe add an extra gap wedge.
Hi Eric: There is an actual Titleist staffer bending and checking your irons! They are not forged to spec. You can bend irons very easily, but more than 4 degrees either way gets a little risky. The chrome can crackle a little bit.
I am looking to put a stiff shaft in my Rapture. I currently have a Diamana Blue Board, but those are way out of my price range. Considering a Proforce V2, some Aldilas, or an Oban. If you have any preferences, let me know.
Thanks,
Ben
