Tim Widing Trusts Titleist from Tee-to-Green to Win Back-to-Back on the Korn Ferry Tour

KORN FERRY TOUR | Vertex Bank Championship 

  • Titleist Brand Ambassador Tim Widing made it back-to-back victories on the Korn Ferry Tour, carding rounds of 62-63-65-63 to post 31 under and win by four.
  • Widing – gaming his Pro V1x golf ball and full bag of Titleist equipment, including his TSR driver, T-Series irons, NEW Vokey SM10 wedges and Scotty Cameron putter – made eight birdies and an eagle to take the lead Sunday and pull away from the chasing pack.  
  • The 26-year-old Swede was in total control of his golf ball all week, hitting 62 of 72 greens in regulation over four rounds (86%, T2).
  • He finished 10th in Putts per GIR (1.60) and was a perfect 3-for-3 in Sand Saves.

KPGA | Woori Bank Championship 

Gaming his Pro V1x golf ball and full bag of Titleist equipment, Titleist Brand Ambassador Sungjae Im defended his title at the Woori Financial Group Championship.

  • Im shot rounds of 70-67-71-69 to post 11 under, good for a one-shot win.
  • He led a group of eight Titleist golf ball players finishing in the top-10 positions on the final leaderboard.

PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS | Mitsubishi Electric Classic 

Propelled by two eagles over his final 13 holes, Stephen Ames (Pro V1) successfully defended his title with a final round 5-under 67 to win by four shots.

  • Ames, now the first PGA TOUR Champions player to win twice this season, hit 83 percent of his greens in regulation, including 17 of 18 during his second-round 64. 
  • Ames led a group of four Titleist golf ball players finishing in the top-five positions on the final leaderboard. 

PGA TOUR AMERICAS | Diners Club Peru Open 

Stuart Macdonald (Pro V1) posted rounds of 69-66-65-71 to earn his second career PGA TOUR-sanctioned win in Peru.

  • Macdonald, who broke through to win last year’s Commissionaires Ottawa Open on PGA TOUR Canada, finished the week at 17 under to win by two shots. 

KLPGA | CreaS F&C The 46th KLPGA Championship 

Jungmin Lee (Pro V1) won her first KLPGA major and 11th KLPGA title after posting 23 under for four rounds at Lakewood Country Club.

  • Lee began the final round in the lead and made seven birdies on Sunday, pulling away from the chasing pack and finishing with a four-shot margin of victory. She shot all four rounds in the 60’s (68-69-62-66).  

LET | Investec South Africa Women’s Open 

Manon De Roey (Pro V1) cruised to a four-shot victory in South Africa, her second career LET title.

  • De Roey carded rounds of 69-67-66-72 to post 14 under for the week.
