Leading the way this week, Titleist Brand Ambassador Scott Piercy (Pro V1) and Titleist golf ball loyalist Billy Horschel (Pro V1x) captured the Zurich Classic in the only two-man team event on the PGA TOUR schedule. This was the second year of the team format.

Piercy and Horschel, who started the final round three shots behind the overnight leaders, fired a final round, 5-under-par 67 in alternate-shot play, including birdies on the first two holes. They posted a 22-under-par 266 victory total, one shot clear of Titleist golf ball loyalists Jason Dufner (Pro V1x) and Pat Perez (Pro V1).

Titleist golf ball loyalists Louis Oosthuizen (Pro V1x) and Charl Schwartzel (Pro V1) finished in solo 3rd, another shot back, as each player among the top three teams trusted Titleist golf balls for their success.

In fact, all but one player among the top six teams on the leaderboard relied upon a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball.

The win was the fourth of Piercy’s PGA TOUR career and the fifth for Horschel, who earned his first career PGA TOUR title at the 2013 Zurich Classic when it was an individual stroke-play event.

At this year's Zurich Classic of New Orleans, Titleist was once again the overwhelming golf ball of choice with 119 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.
