I am your basic 16 handicapper, getting a few pars and an occasional birdie but never really able to put together a solid round. I have played the game for over 52 years and have never broken 80 or had a hole in one. I have not been playing the Titleist ball for a number of years (trying to save a little money) but had not been happy with the results of my ball striking for a while. Found a Pro V1 a few days ago and put it in play and really liked the way it felt coming off the clubface and the results. So I broke down and bought a dozen and used them today. Had a 39 on the front side and was having visions of finally realizing my dream of breaking 80 when I birdied the 10th hole. When I recorded an ace on the par 3 13th hole I almost fainted.I finished with a 37 on the backside for a 76 and my 1st hole in one. Was it the ball??? It is the only thing I changed - so we will say yes. I guess I will now play Titleist the rest of my life. Thanks for the best day of my golfing life.
