Today while playing a local public course called Scenic Valley, I made consecutive holes-in-one!! They occurred on holes six, and eight. Number six was playing 145 yards and down wind. I hit a 9-iron to the front of the green, it took one hop and rolled about 20 feet right in the hole! Number eight was playing 142, but into the wind. Here I hit an eight iron, which land right next to hole, took one hop, and disappeared! What an amazing experience. Golf Digest estimates the odds of an amateur achieving this feat at 1 in 67 million. I was using the Titleist Velocity golf ball on both holes. Typically I play the Pro-V1, but was given these balls as a gift.
