Two Bounces and Nothing But Cup

Woke up late from a night on the town, semi hungover but still managed to get to the course on time to Lockport Country Club with the president of my company and a client from Japan who was in town. Hole No.6 is up on an elevated tee box, 130 yards with bunkers surrounding the green separated me from history. Normally I would hit a hard 9 iron but that club was hanging in trees of Blueberry Hills after a sliced tree shot that led to a snowman on a par 4. So looking through my bag I had two choices, man up and come out of my shoes to hit a pitching wedge and hope that it someone catches a breeze and clear the sandtraps, or take an easy 8 iron on somehow slow my swing down and keep it from going off the green and down the railroad tracks. Option B gave me the most hope, so I choked up on the club hit it square and the ball was on its way to glory. It cleared the sandtrap bounced twice on the green and with a large clunk disappeared from my eyes. Japaneese guy was jumping up and down, but for some reason I still didnt believe it, been down that road before. I looked over at the president of my company and all he said was, how does it feel. The walk up to retrieve the ball was awesome, still wondering if it really happened and when I looked in the cup, Titlest 2 was staring me in the face.
