It's a crisp, sunny spring day. there is a slight breeze in my face. I am standing on the 8th tee box at Butter Broook looking at an elevated green. There are bunkers guarding the surface in front and a sever drop off behind it. I club up one and take a smooth practice swing. Feels good. I address the ball and without much hesitation I let it fly. It has a bullet-like flight heading straight for the center of the green. We see the ball bounce and know that it made it safely to the surface. We walk up to the green and see three balls surrounding the green. I scratch my head and think, could it have gone over? My playing partner Paul says, "here is your ball mark, don't think it could have gone over". "Check the hole". Ok...I gingerly sneak up to the cup and peek inside. Oh my god, it's there. A light feeling washes over me. So cool.
