I am an avid golfer living in Hemet, Ca. I was very fit and worked all the time even at the age of 58. I was a 6 handicap. In March of 2010, I was struck with 3 aneurisms and had brain surgery on two of them and they were removed. The 3rd was deemed not a problem. 6 weeks later, the last one ruptured and required another brain surgery to save my life. The last one caused a stroke. As I was rehabbing, I tried to golf and it was pretty bad. I wanted to improve so much, but was very frustrated. But I kept trying and gradually, I got to where I could play better. I'm now at a 23 handicap. I had never gotten a hole in one until May 27. My wife had gotten on hole 14 at our course. I now have one, same hole, same pin location, and my wife by my side. I'm a very lucky guy! Gary L.
