It was the day of the LGA playing the MGA (women against men) on Ladies Day. Shot-gun start, No.2 par-3 was my 4th hole. It is an island type hole. So I took a bigger club to be sure not to land in the water before the green (this explains the 8 iron I used). The ball went up in the air and landed 4 feet in front of the hole and ran right into the hole. All players saw it! Some had never seen a HIO happening, they felt special witnessing it. And I felt very special!!If no other lady on a Ladies Day till mid November will get a HIO, the HIO pot is mine: undivided. I have been paying into the pot for 15 years. I will win a lot more than the invested $150.
It is not the money, it is the honor, the luck of getting that new velocity ball with that high number into the hole!!!
