My first hole in one thanks to Titleist
By Scott B On 22 September 2012
Playing in a captain and crew tournament on September 21, 2012 at Pheasant Hills Golf Club in Owego, NY and playing from the blue tees on a very windy day I pulled out my 4 iron to hit into the wind 180 yards across the valley to the crowned green on #3. The ball landed just before the green directly on line with the pin, bounced up and rolled straight to the flag and appeared to stop just short of the hole. We all looked away for a second and then back toward the green. Two of the guys in my foursome were yelling "I think it went in" and started jumping up and down. I wasn't going to get too excited until we drove up the the hole to check. The guys let me walk up first and look in the hole. Sure enough my Titleist Pro V1 #4 was laying in the bottom of the cup! Ok, so I started jumping up and down too. The story quickly spread from hole to hole and plenty of congratulations were in order throughout the rest of the day. This was my first hole in one after playing for 43 years. Thank you Titleist for making the Pro V1 that I play exclusively.
