I was out with a couple of buddies playing a skins match. Nobody was shooting particularly well. I was 5 over through 6 but had won the first 3 skins. We had a 4 hole carryover heading into 7. I had a bit of a breeze at my back so I hit an easy 9 iron that was tracking the pin the entire way. One bounce, a roll and it hit the stick for an ace and 4 more skins of course. I was so amped up heading into the par 5 500 yard, 8th hole that I hammered a drive 330 down the pipe. I had 170 and hit my 7 iron a little thin but on line with the pin. It hit and started rolling right at the flag and we thought it was going in for an albatross. I landed short by 18 inches for a tap in Eagle. It was my first career hole in one and Eagle and to have them back to back was amazing.
